Umami Dashi Pasta with Summer Vegetables

A soy sauce flavor with the umami of soup stock pairs perfectly with a range of ingredients. Various seasonal veggies are included to create a fulfilling meal.

  1. Cut bacon into a-half-inch pieces, zucchini into half-moons, and asparagus into 3 or 4 pieces.
  2. In a deep pot, add the torn packet of dashi packet and water, mix well, and bring to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, add the spaghetti. Ensure it is fully submerged and cook for the time indicated on the package. When 2 minutes of cooking time remain, add the bacon and heat through.
  4. Add the special sauce, stir everything together, then add the zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and asparagus and heat until it comes to a boil again.
  5. Place 4 with the sauce in a deep bowl and sprinkle with roasted seaweed.
