Umami Dashi Pasta with Asparagus

A spring-inspired Japanese-style pasta featuring asparagus. Adding sausage enhances the satisfaction.

  1. Cut asparagus diagonally into thin slices and cut the sausage into bite-size pieces.
  2. In a deep pot, add the torn packet of dashi packet and water, mix well, and bring to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, add the spaghetti. Ensure it is fully submerged and cook for the time indicated on the package. When 2 minutes of cooking time remain, add 1.
  4. Add the special sauce and heat until it comes to a boil again, stirring constantly.
  5. Place 4 with the sauce in a deep bowl and sprinkle with roasted seaweed.
