Step 1

Cut a cross at the top of the spring sweet onion.

Step 2

Wash the rice and place it in the rice cooker. Add water up to the “2-cup” level, then add the vegetable dashi and spring sweet onion. Cook the rice.

Step 3

When the rice is cooked, gently break apart the onion and mix it into the rice before serving.
