Spicy Japanese BBQ

Grilled spicy beef with dashi, topped with fresh tomato and pepper salsa on lettuceUmami-rich beef, marinated with Kayanoya Vegetable Stock Powder, is grilled to perfection and topped with a refreshing, spicy salsa that enhances every bite.


Ingredients

  • 7 oz thinly sliced beef (for BBQ)
  • 2 packets Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder (remove from the packet)
  • [A] 1/2 tbsp curry powder
  • [A] 1/2 dried chili pepper
  • [A] Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • [A] 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Some lettuce leaves (such as butter lettuce or green leaf)
  • [B] 1 tomato
  • [B] 1 green bell pepper
  • [B] Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • [B] 1/3 tsp Tabasco

Directions

  1. Finely chop the tomato and green bell pepper. In a bowl, add the beef along with 1 packet of Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder and [A]. Massage well to coat.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine 1 packet of Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder with [B] and mix well to make the salsa.
  3. Grill the marinated beef on both sides. Serve on a bed of lettuce and spoon the salsa over the top.
