Step 1
Slice the new onion into 1/2-inch rings. Remove the strings from the snow peas and cut them in half.
Step 2
Add [A] to a pot and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, then remove the dashi packet.
Step 3
Add the onion and snow peas, then simmer over low heat for 2–3 minutes.
Step 4
Dissolve the miso into the soup, remove from heat, and serve.
Tip
Slicing the onion into rings cuts through the fibers, resulting in a softer texture.
