Hearty Chunky Pork Miso Soup

A hearty bowl of pork miso soup packed with ingredients—no side dishes needed. The umami of Kayanoya Original Dashi Stock Powder brings all the flavors together.


Ingredients

  • 1.8 oz thinly sliced pork
  • [A] 1.4 oz daikon radish
  • [A] 1/4 small carrot
  • [A] 1/4 small onion
  • [A] 1 oz burdock root
  • [A] 1 shiitake mushroom
  • 1.4 oz sweet potato
  • 2 green beans
  • 1/4 block tofu
  • [B] 1 packet of Kayanoya Original Dashi Stock Powder
  • [B] 2 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp or more miso

Directions

  1. Cut all ingredients into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a pot, add [B] and bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove the dashi packet. Add [A] and cook.
  3. Lower the heat, add the pork and sweet potato, and continue simmering.
  4. Once everything is cooked through, add the green beans and gently crumble in the tofu. Dissolve the miso into the soup and serve.
