Red Cabbage Sauerkraut

In Germany, pickled cabbage is an essential accompaniment to sausages and meat dishes. When seasoned with vegetable dashi and white wine, it becomes a flavorful side that can also be enjoyed like a refreshing salad.

  1. Place [A] in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat and simmer for about 1 minute. Transfer to a storage container and let cool.
  2. Toss the shredded red cabbage with Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on medium (about 600 W) for about 3 minutes. Add the raisins and marinate in mixture from step 1 for at least 1 hour.

Tip: Tastes great as a sandwich filling with ham or cheese.
