Bibim Somen

A refreshing, bold twist on traditional somen—no dipping sauce needed. Tossed with a tangy-sweet gochujang dressing and topped with crunchy cucumber and kimchi.


Ingredients

2 Servings
  • 3 bundles somen noodles
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2.8 oz napa cabbage kimchi
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 1 packet Kayanoya Original Dashi Stock Powder (remove from the packet)
  • [A] 1 tbsp vinegar
  • [A] 1 1/2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)

Directions

  1. Julienne the cucumber. Cut the boiled egg into 4 wedges.
  2. Mix Kayanoya Original Dashi Stock Powder with [A] to make the sauce.
  3. Cook the somen noodles. Top with cucumber, kimchi, and boiled egg. Pour the sauce over and serve.
