Minestrone

This Minestrone is made with Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder, bringing out a rich umami flavor from the vegetables. Enjoy a hearty, well-balanced soup without the need for additional seasonings.


Ingredients

2-3 Servings
  • 1.8 oz block bacon
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1.8 oz celery
  • 2 cabbage leaves
  • 1 tomato
  • [A] 1 packet of Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder (remove from the packet)
  • [A] 1 2/3 cups water
  • 1/2 garlic clove
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil and minced garlic in a pot. Add the bacon, onion, and celery, cut into 1/4-inch cubes, and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the roughly chopped tomato and continue cooking until the liquid evaporates. Add the cabbage (cut into 1-inch pieces), [A], and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to low heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with black pepper.
