Garlic Shrimp
Finely mince the onion. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry thoroughly. Using kitchen scissors, cut along the back of the shell and remove the vein.
Combine the shrimp with all [A] ingredients. Mix well and marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
Transfer the marinated shrimp to a skillet. Cover and cook over medium-high heat for 8–10 minutes, steaming and sautéing.
Serve hot with lemon on the side.
Tip: The marinade—rich with onion and spices—also pairs wonderfully with white fish, shellfish, or pork.
