With Kayanoya’s Umami Dashi and Soy Sauce for Pasta, rich flavor unfolds naturally. Just cook your noodles, blend in the dashi and soy sauce, and finish with the seaweed topping. In minutes, you’ll have a bowl filled with gentle umami, refined, comforting, and beautifully balanced.

3.5 oz (100 g) spaghetti
2 cups (480 ml) water
Preferred amount of your favorite mushrooms

This product contains two servings, but please use only one serving at a time.

1 packet roasted seaweed
1 packet special sauce
1 packet Kayanoya Kelp Stock Powder

Cooking instructions

PREPARE THE DASHI

Open Kayanoya Kelp Stock Powder packet and add it to a pot with 2 cups (480 ml) of water. Heat over medium heat.

Tip: A deep pot about 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter works best.

COOK THE PASTA

When the water comes to a boil, add the spaghetti. Once the pasta is fully submerged, cook for the time indicated on the pasta package, stirring occasionally. Simmer gently over low to medium heat.

Tip: Adjust the firmness of the noodles to your preference. You can also add optional ingredients such as mushrooms, seafood, or vegetables during this step. Raw vegetables should be added toward the end of cooking.

ADD THE SPECIAL SAUCE

Stir in the special sauce and continue cooking until the mixture returns to a gentle boil.

SERVE WITH TOPPINGS

Transfer the pasta to a deep serving bowl and place the roasted seaweed on top.
