Instructions

Step 1

Sift [A], and bring butter and egg yolk to room temperature. Cream the butter with a spatula, add sugar, and mix until light and fluffy. Add the egg yolk and mix well.

Step 2

Add [A], Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder, and grated parmesan cheese. Once the dough comes together, divide it in half and shape each piece into a log about 1 inch in diameter. (Optionally, sprinkle black pepper on the surface of the dough.) Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Step 3

Slice the dough into 0.3-inch thick rounds and bake in a preheated oven at 338°F for 16-18 minutes.
