Pork-Wrapped Mashed Potato Cheese Bites

 Mash potatoes with 0.7 oz of Umami Dashi Butter.

 

 

Place 1/6 of the mashed potatoes on a piece of plastic wrap, then wrap it around half a cheese stick, forming a ball.

 

 

 Wrap a slice of pork belly around each potato cheese ball. Repeat to make a total of 6 pieces.


Ingredients

For 6 pieces
  • 1 oz Umami Dashi Butter
  • 3 medium-sized potatoes
  • 3 sticks, cut in half cheese sticks
  • 6 slices thinly sliced pork belly (or Bacon)

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add 0.7 oz Umami Dashi Butter to 1 and mash them.
  3. Place 1/6 of the mashed potatoes on a piece of plastic wrap, then wrap it around half a cheese stick, forming a ball.
  4. Wrap a slice of pork belly around each potato cheese ball. Repeat to make a total of 6 pieces.
  5. Cook the wrapped potato cheese bites in a frying pan until the surface is browned. Finally, add the remaining 0.3 oz of dashi butter and coat the bites evenly.
