Onion Soup

Simple, quick, healthy, and umami-rich onion soup. You can use whole onions or sliced ​​onions.

  • 2 onions
  • 2 packets Kobe / Nishinomiya Limited Edition: Kayanoya Vegetable Stock Powder
  • 3½ cups water


  1. Cut the top and bottom of an onion. Place an onion, Vegetable Stock Powder and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, and simmer on medium heat for 2--3 minutes.
  2. Cook for an additional 20 minutes until the onion softens. Serve soup in two bowls.
