Hasselback Zucchini

Place disposable chopsticks on both sides of the zucchini while cutting to achieve clean slices without cutting all the way through. Adding herbs or cheese is also recommended for extra flavor.

  1. Make 1/4-inch slices along each zucchini, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. Evenly sprinkle Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder over the cut sides of the zucchini and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the zucchini in the skillet, allowing them to sear lightly. Roll the zucchini occasionally to achieve an even golden brown on all sides. Add additional olive oil as needed while cooking, then finish with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
