Step 1
Heat butter in a pot, add thinly sliced onions and sugar, and sauté until golden brown. Add [A] and simmer for about 2 minutes after bringing to a boil.
Step 2
Place the cheese-topped grilled mochi and the contents of Step 1 into a bowl. Sprinkle with black pepper to taste.
Tip
You can shorten the cooking time by microwaving the onions for about 5 minutes beforehand.
