Udon and soba are popular Japanese noodle dishes. Here you see it made with Kayanoya dashi soup stock.
2 packets Kayanoya Original Dashi Stock Powder
800 ml water
1 ½ tablespoons light soy sauce
1 tablespoon mirin
2 sheets abura–age (fried tofu)
2 servings udon noodles
Green onion to taste
Place water and dashi in a saucepan and bring to a boil for 1–2 minutes, then add soy sauce and mirin.
Add noodles, and when the liquid begins to boil again, pour the contents of the pan into a bowl.
Top with roasted abura–age and chopped green onion.
