Beef Pho


Serves 2

  • 2 packets Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder

  • 3.5 cups Water

  • 1 Leek (green portion) 

  • 2 tablespoons Ginger

  • 7 ounces Sliced beef

  • 2 tablespoons Nampla (fish sauce)

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 2 servings Pho noodles

  • 1/2 Red onion (thinly sliced)

  • Appropriate amount of herbs of your choice (Thai basil, mint, coriander, etc.)

  • Appropriate amount of fresh red chili pepper

  • Appropriate amount of lime

    Add the Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder, water, leek (green portion), and thinly sliced ginger to a pot, and bring to a boil. After boiling, simmer for 2 to 3 minutes at medium heat. Remove the packets of vegetable stock, add the beef, and simmer at low heat while skimming the broth. Flavor with Nampla and salt.

    Place the boiled Pho noodles, soup, red onion and beef to bowls. Finish by adding the herbs of your choice, red chili pepper, and lime.
