Bacon Soup

The umami flavor of the vegetable dashi spreads through you when you eat this delicate soup.


2 Servings

  • 1/8 head nappa cabbage (or cabbage)

  • 60g sliced bacon

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • 1/2 garlic clove

  • 1 packet Kayanoya Original Vegetable Stock Powder (dashi removed from packet)

  • 500ml water

  • Salt and pepper to taste

    Cut the napa cabbage and bacon into 2 cm-wide pieces.

    Heat the olive oil and garlic in a pan and saute.

    Add the vegetable dashi and water and cook until the cabbage softens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
