Dashi Base for Hot Pot with Miso Sesame Flavor is now available in the United States to members of the Kayanoya family. This hot pot combines the richness and sweetness of sesame with the umami of dashi.
This product includes two sets of packets. One packet in each set combines dashi specially made from Japanese-produced bonito and sardine. The other packet holds our liquid base, which contains a blended sesame paste for rich flavor, as well as ground sesame with a fragrant aroma.

How to:
1. Use one packet of special dashi stock powder per 300 ml of water. Place water and unopened packet in a small pot. Bring water to simmer over medium heat, and maintain temperature for 2 to 3 minutes.
2. Remove the dashi packet, then add the liquid base.
3. Cook preferred ingredients, starting with those which require the most boiling.
